Please note that this position is not embedded in one school and does not provide direct clinical services to students, rather provides professional development and consultation to a variety of school communities both in Boston and beyond
This School Focused Training & Access Project Social Worker (TAP) will be responsible for:
- Designing, facilitating, and evaluating professional development for school professionals in Boston Public Schools
- Working collaboratively and actively engaging as a member of the TAP team
- Developing and co-facilitating live and pre-recorded workshops focused on a variety of social emotional and behavioral health related topics designed to meet the needs of school based behavioral health providers, educators, and school professionals
- Receiving support and coaching in designing and facilitating workshops for school-based audiences.
- Development of supporting resources and materials to supplement trainings

To qualify, you must have:
- Master’s degree in social work; MA LICSW required
- Experience working in the field of school-based behavioral health a plus.
- Experience working in diverse, urban school settings is highly preferred.
- Experience and/or interest in teaching, presenting/co-facilitating and/or providing trainings within urban K-12 schools or related audiences is preferred.
- Have a growth mindset and openness to receiving coaching and support for designing and facilitating trainings.
- Commitment to collaboratively developing materials, trainings, and consultation through a social justice and equity lens
- Experience and/or interest in developing trainings across formats including in-person and online/virtual ideal
- Strong writing skills
- Interest and/or experience providing clinical and consultation services about behavioral health and social emotional learning to caregivers or adults who work with youth
- The ability to work both independently and within a team environment, and communicate effectively with others to problem solve and achieve goals related to numerous projects
- Interest in providing professional development to a variety of school communities on a macro level.
