The Transition to Nursing Practice (TNP) Program is comprised of ten 6-hour class days that are spread over a 12-month period. It is offered three times per year with start dates in March, August and November.
The TNP Program is designed specifically for new graduate RNs. You can apply before or after you graduate or if you have a pending licensure.
With a focus on the transition from student to professional nurse, the TNP Program builds on the “Nurse of the Future” competencies mandated by the Institute of Medicine. Unlike a traditional residency program, newly licensed nurses are welcome and hired into specific departments which provide education and support. These positions are not posted to our careers page.

If you have not submitted your resume, you can do so at TNPProgram@childrens.harvard.edu
You will be contacted if there is interest. Please note, although we hire new grads three times per year, the positions are limited.
