We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator I. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and operations of the Department of Anesthesiology, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with program goals. You’ll provide technical advice, problem-solving assistance, and answer inquiries, while also assisting in preparing reports and records for management and external agencies.

The Program Coordinator I will be responsible for:
- Coordinating activities and daily operations of the Department of Anesthesiology, including their Graduate Medical Education(GME) programs.
- Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.
- Preparing or assisting in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- Reviewing applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
- Assisting in the coordination of recruitment efforts.
- Drafting written communication and promotional documents.
- Assisting in planning workshops, meetings and/or conferences; coordinating logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
- Support administrative operations as needed; helping to schedule meetings, answering phone calls, greeting visitors and routing people appropriately.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Hybrid
To qualify, you must have:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate empathy in challenging interpersonal situations.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external constituencies.
