This Per Diem Pediatric Registered Dietitian will provide basic nutritional care to patients on assigned inpatient units. The role involves evaluating medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs and develop appropriate nutrition care plans. The dietitian will also assist in supervising the daily work of the dietetic technician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nutritional care to patients on assigned inpatient units.

  • Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs.

  • Develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.

  • Assist in supervising the daily work of the dietetic technician.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition.

  • Up to one year of post-degree coursework and/or internship required.

  • Preferred: One to two years of experience in pediatrics.

Experience:

  • Preferably one to two years of pediatric nutrition experience.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian.

  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed Dietitian.
