Boston Children’s at Martha Eliot provides primary and preventive care for children, adolescents, and young adults, including well-child appointments and sick visits. This full-time access care coordinator clinical social worker will support the behavioral health walk- in clinic in primary care @ Martha Eliot Health Center in Jamaica Plain, MA. (free parking!)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessments and referrals, providing holding of patients on a waiting list, helping facilitate a waiting list group
- Providing brief treatment as well as support other care coordination activities.
- Carrying an ongoing individual and possible group therapy caseload within the behavioral health department
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work
Experience:
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment as well as excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced community-based health care setting preferred
- Behavioral health experience with children, adolescents, and families ideal
- Bilingual/bicultural/diverse candidates are encouraged to apply. Spanish speaker a plus.
Licensure/Certifications:
- LCSW required in the state Massachusetts, LICSW in the state of Massachusetts highly preferred.
