Nurse Practitioner Occupational Health Services
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides work-related medical services to employees, volunteers, medical staff and associated personnel of Boston Children’s Hospital, Franciscan Children’s Hospital and other staff as identified in future service development.
- Provides pre-placement screens, vaccinations, work-injury evaluations, managing workers compensation cases, completing timely and professional medical documentation and OSHA log documentation, ergonomics evaluations, wellness consultations and other medical services as needed for work population.
- Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing.
- Working 32 hours per week, day shifts Monday through Friday
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- A Master’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- 1 year of direct NP experience, preferably adult experience
- Occupational Health NP, Primary Care NP, Urgent Care NP, or College Health NP experience, preferred
Licensure/ Certifications:
- A current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Registered Nurse and a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
- Current National Certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) to care for staff ages 16+ granted by a Board recognized certifying organization
- MA Controlled Substance Registration
- DEA License
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
