Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Vascular Anomalies/Interventional Radiology
Key Responsibilities:

  • The assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients requiring Interventional Radiology interventions in consultation with the Interventional Radiologists.
  • The assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with vascular anomalies in consultation with the Interventional Radiologists.
  • Ordering and interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests, post-procedural recovery care, inpatient rounds, consultation with other health care providers, coordination of care, referrals, prescription of medications, and follow up care including telephone updates, triage of complications and clinic visits.
  • Working 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday including the ability to work a range of 8-to-12-hour shifts

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • A Master of Physician Assistant Studies or MSN/NP or DNP Program

Experience:

  • 2 years of PNP/FNP/PA experience.
  • Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team is a plus.
  • Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills and be self-directed.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • A current license in the state of Massachusetts to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP (primary or acute care) or FNP) or Physician Assistant
  • MCSR and DEA upon hire
This role offers a competitive sign‑on bonus ranging from $5,000+, based on your experience.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
