The Pediatric Registered Dietitian II provides advanced clinical nutrition care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical conditions, with a primary focus on cerebral palsy and related neurodevelopmental disorders alongside a multidisciplinary team. The team includes providers from orthopedics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, neurosurgery, complex care services, physical therapy and social work. This role involves comprehensive nutrition assessment, peri-operative nutritional optimization ahead of complex spine and hip surgery, individualized care planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and caregiver education to support optimal growth, feeding, and overall health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
- Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
Experience:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
Certifications/Licensure:
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
