Boston Children’s Hospital and Milford Regional Medical Center have been collaborating for more than 10 years to deliver best-in-class pediatric care. Boston Children’s Physicians Milford is an office practice located on the campus of Milford Regional Medical Center offering pediatric specialty services in the following specialties: allergy and immunology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, and neurology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with interdisciplinary team including other clinical assistants, physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, child life specialist and administrative staff, etc.
  • Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
  • Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks as needed.
  • Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic).
  • Restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Some administrative duties, including checking in of patients and scheduling.
  • M-F, 7a-530p, with flexibility on start and end times.

Minimum qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferred 1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation. Would consider pre-PA or pre -med candidates with no direct patient care experience.

Experience:

  • A HS Diploma or equivalent.

Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
