Position Summary

The Director, Global Project Management serves as a key partner of BCH’s Global Alliances, driving, executing, and scaling complex, multi-country international initiatives, day-to-day relationships with international health systems, ministries, and academic partners while navigating regulatory, cultural, and operational nuances. The Director operates at the intersection of strategy, business development, and operations, translating global opportunities into structured engagements with defined scope, deliverables, financial models, and measurable outcomes. Serving as a trusted thought partner to senior leadership, the director of Global Project Management ensures disciplines execution while focusing on strategic partnership, consulting, and measurable initiatives in different markets.

Key Responsibilities

Global Consulting & Project Development:

  • Lead development and execution of international consulting and advisory engagements across priority market
  • Structure engagements, define scope, and support pricing and financial models in collaboration with leadership
  • Develop repeatable consulting offerings, toolkits, and delivery models to scale globally

Planning & Execution

  • Partner with leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans with clear deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Lead execution project planning supporting initiatives within BCH’s Global Alliances in international growth, business development, clinical program expansion, and global partnerships.
  • Monitor progress against objectives, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Project & Program Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of multiple concurrent projects, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Build scalable operating models that can be applied across markets and design governance frameworks that are repeatable across global partnerships.
  • Implement project management frameworks, dashboards, and tools to track progress and provide visibility to leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment across departments and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a connector and relationship manager across senior leadership, faculty, and external partners.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and updates for senior leadership and board-level audiences.
  • Communicate effectively across clinical, administrative, and external audiences to ensure alignment and impact.

Required Qualifications

  • BA degree required; MBA or MHA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, business development, or consulting, with proven success in project management and execution.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, international healthcare, or academic medical centers.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-country projects and external client facing agreements with proved ability to deliver and execute within determined framework and timeline.
  • Experience in commercial and financial modeling skills with deep understanding of global markets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex issues into clear recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Recognized for leadership, technical skills, and ability to deliver results with a high degree of independence.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
