The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with all interdisciplinary team members including nurses, nurse practitioners, anesthesiologists and perioperative team.
  • Assisting in the coordination of patient care services within other disciplines of the healthcare system
  • Reviewing patients’ medical/surgical history and outside records in the EMR to identify potential perioperative risk factors.
  • Performing telephone history/assessment to include review of systems, medication list, patient education, and implementing perioperative plan.

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 3 years of Pediatric RN experience in Perioperative or Surgical Inpatient programs
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills in addition to proficient multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong technical knowledge of EMR (preferably EPIC).

Ability to work (4) 10 hour shifts
