We are combining our data, clinical expertise, and health care technology development experience, with leading worldwide industry partners – including start-ups – to transform health care. We work to surface, support and accelerate Boston Children’s innovations for the purpose of improving pediatric care. Today, there is a new level of investment and urgency behind accelerating innovations and expanding our reach globally.

The Product Manager role would be on the Innovation team within IDHA.

Innovation
The Innovation team is a cross-functional team that builds and partners with early-stage digital health products/companies. Internally, the Innovation team develops and/or deploys emerging technology solutions with potential for impact within BCH. The team also leverages knowledge and expertise from the enterprise to (co)incubate novel digital health technologies with strong commercial potential. In addition to internal efforts, the team participates in other Accelerator programs, like MassChallenge Health Tech and KidsX. Through this work, the Accelerator builds strong relationships with innovative startups, investors, and industry leaders alike.

Additional responsibilities of the Product Manager may include conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining product specifications, conducting user interviews and user testing, setting production timetables, and providing general product and technical strategy advice to Boston Children’s innovators interested in building new digital health products.

The Product Manager will be responsible for:

  • Conducts end user/customer interviews and works with clinical and subject matter experts to understand end user needs and design product components/definitions that translate business needs, customer needs, and technological capabilities into features and enhancements.

In order to qualify, you must have:

  • Experience driving change and consensus across organizations; comfortable leading through influence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment
