- Directly overseeing the PPOC Information Security Program and being responsible for data security of the PPOC and its member practices.
- Developing a comprehensive security program and maintaining the PPOC’s Information Security Plan.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state privacy and security regulations applicable to healthcare providers.
- Fostering and maintaining an Information Security culture throughout the PPOC network, leveraging the IT Steering Committee and practice-designated Privacy and Security Officers.
- Working closely with the Chief Information, Security, and Privacy Officer to integrate and align efforts, supporting privacy initiatives and investigations.
- Evaluating, selecting, and overseeing the implementation of security products and technologies.
- Determining the acceptable level of information security risk in conjunction with PPOC senior management and advising senior management on information security risks and appropriate courses of action.
- Overseeing the ongoing information security program of monitoring systems, networks, applications, computer use, etc.
- Advising PPOC IT Management on relevant issues and their implications for the PPOC and member practices, recommending actions that support the adoption of enhanced security measures.
- Providing regular reporting on the organization’s security posture and related project status.
- Monitoring security threats (i.e., Malware, Viruses, Zero-Day vulnerabilities, etc.) and coordinating activities to ensure preparedness, mitigation, and response.
- Routinely collaborating and coordinating with BCH Information Security Teams.
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Eight years information security experience is required
- Experience working in a healthcare organization is preferred
- CISSP certification is required to be considered
- Candidates are required to be onsite twice a month in Wellesley, MA location , candidates from New England area is preferred
