Shifts include: 7:00am – 3:30pm, 9:30am – 6:00pm, 11:30am- 8:00pm, 1:30pm – 10:00pm
This position is 40hours, and eligible for full-time benefits + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!
This Nutrition Technician will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Clinical Dietitian in providing the optimal nutritional care to patients, which can include formula preparation and food related tasks.
- Preparing specialized breastmilk nutrition by preparing diets of donor human milk; skim human milk, or high calorie hind milk.
- Assisting in inventory of breastmilk, formulas, supplements and supplies.
- Utilizes appropriate equipment such as Creamatocrit and Centrifuge for specialized preparation.
To qualify, you must have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, Associate’s degree from an ACEND accredited program or currently enrolled in Didactic Program in Dietetics from an ACEND accredited program preferred.
- Certification in ServSafe is preferred.
- Analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, computer or technical principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- Proficiency in a nutrient analysis programs.
