- Providing care to infants, children, adolescents, young adults with pain from acute and chronic illnesses in the inpatient setting.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to conduct patient assessments, medical histories, physical exams and develop a plan of care based on the source of pain and patient needs.
- Facilitating collaboration with members of the multidisciplinary team and other consulting services to provide comprehensive care for optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality and safety initiatives and research.
- Providing consultation and education to staff members, patients and families as needed on pertinent topics
- 36 hours per week, less than 50% day/night rotation, 12 hour shifts, with every 4th weekend (Flexible schedule arrangements are possible for those who are seeking a set schedule and need to work less nights, weekends and or holidays)
To qualify, you must have:
- A Master’s Degree with current NP or PA license, BLS and PALS certification
- 3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care background
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills are required
**Sign-on bonus of $4,500.00 for part-time (36 hours) APP hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
