- Providing psychiatric nursing care for patients ages 8-17 years on our new Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT) Program.
- Administering and monitoring medications as part of treatment plans.
- Overseeing and managing therapeutic milieu and overseeing care provided by Milieu Counselor colleagues.
- Participating in individualized treatment planning and supervise the implementation and revision of plans.
- Utilizing interpersonal skills to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.
- Providing patient/family education on aspects of care including symptom management and coping.
- Working as a team player and functioning as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- 40 hours; rotating days/evenings, occasional nights, every other weekend and rotating holidays.
To qualify, you must have:
- BSN required.
- 1+ years of RN experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
