The opportunity

This is a Summer Internship position within the Business Intelligence team of the Physicians’ Organization (PO). The role will leverage analytical skills to support ongoing projects within the PO and across the enterprise.

The Business Analysis Intern – Physicians’ Organization will be responsible for:

  • Building and refining predictive models using Python
  • Building and executing database queries using SQL
  • Production of operational reporting related to financial performance and clinical volume
  • Developing data visualizations for end users based on reporting results
  • Collaborating with various departments across the hospital to address specific business needs.

In order to qualify, you must have:

  • Candidate should be pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with a programming language (e.g., Python) and/or a database querying language (e.g., SQL) is strongly preferred.
  • This is a hybrid position with an onsite requirement approximately once a week at the hiring manager’s discretion.
  • Onsite workspaces are available if preferred over the remote option on non-required onsite days.
