The RN Fellow will be responsible for:
- Participating in didactic lessons, simulations, and practice-based learning as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Addressing the epidemiology, signs and symptoms, risk factors, evaluation and interventions across the spectrum of child abuse, neglect and maltreatment in the hospital and ambulatory settings.
- Interacting with patients, families and peers in a variety of settings, including the outpatient Foster Care Clinic and Crisis Response Clinic, Primary Care, Emergency Department and inpatient settings.
- Participating in daily team rounds, weekly Clinical Operations Meetings and educational trainings hosted by the Child Protection Program.
- Upon completion of the fellowship, the RN Fellow will be expected to give a final presentation of scholarly work related to their fellowship experience.
To qualify, you must have:
- Minimum 3-5 years RN experience.
- Pediatric RN experience preferred.
- This Fellow position is full time for one year from start date.
