Position Summary/ Department Summary:
Manages the administrative and financial operations of small to medium sized, modestly complex practices which may include multi specialties and/or multiple locations. Collaborates/ coordinates shared responsibility with the satellite leadership to make each site successful. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. Supports the Director, Department Administrator and/or Clinical Chair/Chief s.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient use of staff and equipment in assigned clinical areas.
- Partners with HR, department leadership, and clinical leaders to manage staffing, coaching, and performance; delegates responsibilities appropriately.
- Develops and monitors budgets with clinical leaders, tracking financial performance against targets.
- Ensures regulatory compliance in collaboration with Hospital Compliance and clinical leadership.
- Serves as administrative liaison with hospital departments, external vendors, and joint program partners; participates on relevant committees and task forces.
- Maintains regular communication with Program Chiefs, administrators, nursing leadership, and referring physicians.
- Supports development and improvement of clinical outcome metrics and workflows in partnership with clinical leaders.
- Helps shape and implement strategic vision for clinical services with hospital and departmental leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
