Position Summary:

  • Managing patients throughout the continuum of care before, during and after imaging procedures. Modalities include: MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Radiology PACU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anesthesia patient prep, assessment, procedural care and recovery.
  • Occasional potential to work remote when in the assessment role. Rotating through the assessment role of chart review, patient phone assessment and patient care coordination prior to anxiolysis and anesthesia for a variety of Radiology imaging studies.
  • Working 30 hours, 10 hour shifts rotating days/evenings. Staggered shifts (start as early as 6AM, last shift ends at 9:30PM). An average of 1-2 weeknight call shifts per 6-week schedule, with every 3rd weekend requirement (alternating call and working).
  • Eligible for full time benefits.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Critical Care, Radiology, ED, peri-operative, procedural or Inpatient experience preferred.
  • Pediatric experience and PALS certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, and superb collaborative skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
