Conducts routine repairs and preventive maintenance, including inspections and calibrations, on a wide variety of electromechanical medical equipment across the satellite locations. Assists with servicing complex and high-risk equipment under the guidance of senior technical staff. This role involves occasional local travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine repairs and preventative maintenance on electromechanical medical equipment using standard tools and procedures.
- Maintains accurate documentation of service actions in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensures medical device management aligns with applicable regulations and standards.
- Conducts inspections of clinical and research areas to monitor and assess equipment functionality.
- Provides technical support and collaborates with peers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Delivers excellent customer service by building relationships, managing clinical areas, and communicating effectively about service updates.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field.
