The Division of Gynecology at Boston Children’s Hospital is one of the premier pediatric and adolescent gynecology centers in the world. We specialize in gynecologic care for patients from infancy to young adulthood, from addressing common concerns such as missed periods, heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, and endometriosis, to managing more complex conditions like congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract. We also provide fetal consultations to expecting families to help ensure exceptional care for suspected congenital anomalies.

Key responsibilites:

  • Assisting clinician during examinations (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, and performing other related duties, including Point of Care Testing, according to specific needs of clinic).
  • Assisting with procedures, stocking rooms, ordering clinical supplies.
  • Collecting, verifying and recording patient information according to established procedures and instructions.
  • Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
  • Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems.
  • Coverage needed for Tuesdays and Wednesdays 830a-5p with flexibility for an 8a start at 333 Longwood and 2 Brookline Place.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education

  • HS Diploma or GED.

Experience

  • 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related experience.
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
