- Receive materials from vendors, verify accuracy and count, and route items to final destinations while maintaining related documentation.
- Respond to hospital staff inquiries about deliveries and shipments; expedite orders as needed.
- Maintain medical gas inventory according to required par levels and established schedules. Respond to routine and emergency requests for delivery and retrieval of gas cylinders.
- Pick up and deliver supplies, mail, equipment, specimens and other related items. Assist Receiving/Distribution personnel in loading and off-loading.
- Handle mail, packages, and patient-related items professionally and confidentially; interact courteously with staff and customers.
- Maintain logs and records of receipts, deliveries, equipment maintenance, and ensure work area is clean and safe.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
- A Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
