Position Summary:
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work within our Neonatal ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the care of critically ill infants up to 6 months post-conceptual age, as part of a multidisciplinary team, on a 30-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Providing medical and surgical NICU care including but not limited to: airway and cardio-respiratory management, pain and sedation management, enteral and parenteral nutritional support, gastrointestinal disease management, congenital/genetic anomaly evaluations
  • Schedule is 30 hours per week (12-hour shifts), 50% rotation days and nights, weekend and holiday rotation requirements.


Minimum Qualifications

Education:

  • Masters of Science in Nursing or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies

Experience:

  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a Level III NICU or in a pediatric critical care setting. Will also consider a new graduate NP, PA, acute care PNP with NICU experience.


Licensure/ Certifications:

  • A current Massachusetts NP or PA license required (Neonatal NP or Acute Care Pediatric if an NP)

*Sign-on bonus of $3,750.00 (for 30 hours) (for people who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
