Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Analyst provides technical support and operational management for the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD). This role oversees production learning applications, release operations, support activities, and vendor coordination, while also partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues. The analyst works closely with hospital leadership, local administrators, and content owners to configure the system, publish and manage learning content, and design functional solutions that enhance learning processes. In addition, this role delivers user training, develops supporting documentation, and promotes the effective use of the LMS across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects that support the continued adoption and expansion of CSOD across the organization.
  • Consult with hospital leadership to design and configure solutions for complex LMS needs.
  • Deliver frequent user training (beginner through advanced) and develop job aids/how-to guides.
  • Manage the Cornerstone ticket queue, ensuring timely and customer-focused resolution of issues.
  • Establish governance and maintenance processes for ongoing system operations.
  • Troubleshoot LMS issues, collaborate with the vendor, and track resolutions.
  • Develop functional solutions that improve processes and system adoption.
  • Audit system use and generate reports on LMS utilization and effectiveness.
  • Build advanced reports using CSOD Reporting 2.0 and custom tools to support enterprise needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into learning technology solutions.
  • Support planning, testing, and documentation for vendor-driven LMS releases.
  • Lead large-scale, high-visibility initiatives involving system setup, educational technology, and training solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience with learning management systems, including at least 3 years with CSOD and 2 years with HRIS/LMS integration (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday).
  • Advanced-level expertise in Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management.
  • Strong experience with organizational units, hierarchy, business logic, and groups within CSOD.
  • Proficiency with CSOD tools: Learning Assignment Tool, observation checklists, instructor-led training, and course uploads.
  • Working knowledge of SCORM troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills with CSOD Reporting 2.0 and custom reporting tools.
  • Experience creating user guides/job aids for varying skill levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to train end users and provide best practices in learning management.
