We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Satellite Operating Room. This position will start in Lexington and then move to Needham in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing sterile instruments to surgical team during surgery.
- Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
- Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
- Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies
- Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
Minimal Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Associate’s Degree preferred
Experience
- 1 year of OR experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
- A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program
- Employment as Surgical Technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013 or Individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service in lieu of a certificate from a Surgical Technologist program
*Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time, 40 hour per week hires with over 2 years of direct OR experience as a Surgical Technologist (who have not worked here in the past 2 years). *
