Position Summary:
The Division of Gynecology at Boston Children’s Hospital, established in 1973 as the first of its kind in a U.S. children’s hospital, is renowned for treating patients globally, offering comprehensive care from birth through young adulthood for conditions such as pelvic pain, endometriosis, and gender dysphoria. The division is committed to excellence in gender-affirming care, with a team that includes physicians, fellows, residents, advanced practice providers, nursing, social work, and administrative professionals, working collaboratively within the Transgender Reproductive Health Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centered Care: Provide high-quality medical and surgical care, focusing on gender-affirming surgeries and gynecologic care for both children and adults.

Collaboration and Patient Management: Work closely with gynecologists in managing ambulatory and peri-operative patient care, ensuring comprehensive care for various patient groups including transgender, gender diverse, intersex, and others with genital diversity.

Clinical Evaluation and Documentation: Conduct inclusive clinical evaluations, obtain complete health histories, document patient assessments, diagnoses, and care plans.

Clinical Procedure and Surgical Assistance: Perform or assist with clinic procedures and potentially assist surgeons during OR cases, including writing appropriate surgical notes and discharge summaries.

Administrative and Patient Communication: Manage patient communications and administrative tasks through the patient portal, ensuring effective correspondence with referring physicians and appropriate care coordination.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education
- Master of Science: Physician Assistant
- License & Certification
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
- National Convention of Certification of Physician Assistants Certification (PA-C)
- Current Massachusetts license as a Physician Assistant
- MA Controlled Substance License
- DEA License (unless credentialed w/ modified prescription privileges per Core Privilege document)
