The Imaging Assistant prepares examination rooms and provides assistive care to patients, ensuring adherence to sterile procedure techniques. They aid physicians or technologists during sterile procedures and assist in positioning patients during examinations.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and Assistive Care: Prepares for examinations and provides assistive care to patients according to established procedures and instructions.

Sterile Procedures: Cleans and sets up rooms for examination following sterile procedure techniques and uses sterile techniques to set up and break down sterile fields and trays.

Patient Support: Holds and assists in positioning patients during procedures, performs duties for their comfort, diversion, or safety, and transports patients.

Operational Support: Provides general support for clinical operations, including retrieving films, requisitioning, and managing supplies and equipment.
- Customer Service and Communication: Provides positive and effective customer service, answers and routes telephone calls, responds to routine requests for information, and initiates calls for emergency services as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma required
