The Research Data Manager will oversee data management and research for the International Quality Improvement Collaborative (IQIC) and other Heart Center projects pertaining to congenital heart disease and pulmonary vein stenosis research. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality, coordinating collaborations, supporting committees, and contributing to research and education. This role directly impacts global quality improvement and patient outcomes in pediatric cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain research databases and registries
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality of data through audits and reporting
- Coordinate multi-institutional collaborations and communications
- Support committees, research projects, and educational activities
- Onboard and train new research partners
- Prepare and distribute research reports, manuscripts, and presentations
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Education – Master’s Degree required; MPH in Public Health preferred
- Area of study – Health science, public health, epidemiology, or closely related field, including course work in biostatistics or computerized analytic techniques.
- Work Experience – At least 1 year.
Experience:
- Knowledge of research data management, database design, and quality assurance
- Experience with clinical registries, research studies, or multi-site databases
- Skilled in data analysis tools (SAS, R, REDCap, etc.) and report preparation
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Experience leading projects or committees preferred
