Temporary Part time social work position (20 hrs) needed for our Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program. Exciting newly established position for licensed MSW as part of a two-person social work team in the Adolescent Weight Loss Surgery Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a broad range of clinical social work services to adolescents and their families.
- Providing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, short term focused counseling, and psychoeducation
- Facilitation of use of hospital and community resources, and psychosocial consultation to medical team
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, LICSW required.
Experience:
- Experience in medical environment helpful.
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills necessary.
- Experience in mental health assessment and weight loss education preferred but not required.
