Position Summary
Performs routine and complex procedures on a scheduled and emergency basis following departmental QC/Exam Data Integrity Workflow Expectations. Actively participates in training of clinical staff. Acts as a mentor to less experienced staff. Participates in organizing patient and staff schedules and other operational duties assigned by manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate requisitions and determine the appropriateness of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and set up necessary equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and reduced radiation exposure.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, administer contrast agents, and manage therapeutic equipment.
  • Respond to patients’ unique needs and collaborate with the team to devise procedure plans.
  • Organize daily operations, coordinate patient scheduling, and ensure smooth modality function.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and educational support to staff and fellows.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

  • Associates degree; Allied Health

Certification/Licensure

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification required
  • MA Rad Tech license

Experience

  • 3 years of experience working as a CV Radiologic Technologist. Consideration given to Catheterization Lab technician experience.
