Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Clinical Social Worker to provide a comprehensive range of social work services to children, adolescents, and young adults within the Division of Endocrinology. This position is an integral part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of life of patients living with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and other Endocrine-related medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Psychosocial assessments and interventions with patients and their families
  • Care coordination, and advocacy while collaborating closely with social work colleagues, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Working with children, adolescents, young adults and families living Type 1 Diabetes and other endocrine medical conditions
  • Ability to travel to Weymouth satellite 2-3 days per month

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • Master’s degree in social work

Experience:

  • Experience in a medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
