We are seeking a full-time Clinical Social Worker to provide a comprehensive range of social work services to children, adolescents, and young adults within the Division of Endocrinology. This position is an integral part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of life of patients living with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and other Endocrine-related medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Psychosocial assessments and interventions with patients and their families
- Care coordination, and advocacy while collaborating closely with social work colleagues, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Working with children, adolescents, young adults and families living Type 1 Diabetes and other endocrine medical conditions
- Ability to travel to Weymouth satellite 2-3 days per month
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work
Experience:
- Experience in a medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
Licensure/Certifications:
- LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
