Department Summary:

Children’s Hospital Primary Care Clinic, located on the main campus of Boston Children’s Hospital, serves more children than any other primary care practice in Boston.
Our services include: Wellness checkups and preventive care, Immunizations, Same-day visits for illnesses and other concerns (including weekends), Services and support for children with special health care needs, Mental health and social support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working in a busy pediatric practice with a wide variety of primary and urgent health care needs.
  • Providing nursing care and education to patients with a variety of health care issues including well child care, chronic care health issues, complex family dynamics, developmental concerns, asthma, obesity, and failure to thrive.
  • Intertwining anticipatory guidance into each visit.
  • Ability to work Mon-Sun (days/eves with weekend rotation).

Minimum qualifications:
Education:

  • BSN degree.

Experience:

  • 1 year pediatric nursing experience. (3 years strongly preferred)
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Primary Care experience preferred.
  • Pediatric RN experience preferred.

License/certification:

  • MA RN license.

Please note: During a public health emergency, individuals in this role may be expected to take on additional duties to respond to organizational needs.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
