- Working with the ambulatory Rheumatology team within the Division of Immunology to provide care for patients of all ages from newborn through young adulthood.
- Phone triage which includes, managing clinic patient flow and attending to patient care needs and patient education. Consulting with the medical team to respond to phone calls from active patients/families calling with acute medical issues and concerns. Communicating with families to provide follow-up after hospital discharge. Coordinating patient care and providing education/documentation to community providers, including outside institutions, PCPs, and school and camp personnel.
- Reviewing referral documentation and labs from both internal and community providers to determine reason for referral, appropriate timeframe and provider for consultation.
- Supporting the Prior Authorization workflow to ensure patients receive necessary therapies with minimal delay/interruption in care.
To qualify you must have:
- A BSN degree
- 3 years of pediatric/adolescent RN experience preferred.
- Inpatient or outpatient RN experience in Allergy, Dermatology, Immunology, or Rheumatology preferred.
- Ability to work on the main campus in Longwood, as well as 2 Brookline Place.
- Ability to work 10 hour shifts- 8am-6:30pm
