Coordinates the data flow for one or more quality improvement related studies and projects. Establishes and follows procedures for effectively gathering and entering data, and hard copy and electronic file management for quality improvement data. Performs database searches and assists with reports as requested by Program personnel; completes administrative duties as assigned.
Key responsibilities
- Provides basic data coordination and data entry services for quality improvement projects supported by the department.
- Supports quality improvement reporting for data review, quality control checks, and/or interim and final analysis.
- Contributes to the development of databases and data management standards and serves as an internal resource on data coordination procedures.
- Provides administrative and technical support to department for development of educational tools and training materials for project and data management curricula
- Provides positive and effective customer service and contributes to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations.
- Ensures quality improvement work in the department is performed in conformance with established hospital, program, federal, and state policies and procedures.
Minimum qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, mathematics or related field.
Experience:
- Knowledge of basic data management software e.g. SPSS, MS, Excel.
- Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 830a-500p, 100% onsite
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
