Preparation: Possess the skills to work independently. Can review, identify, and determine the order of scoring of routine, priority, and red flag studies. Has a comprehensive understanding of pulmonary vs. Neurology readers and can assign a reader when necessary. Understands the ROW schedule. Equipment: Ability to troubleshoot signal quality, and when to use alternative channels to accurately analyze data collected. Scoring: Evaluates raw study, staging sleep, identifying artifacts, and all relevant events. Generating reports allowing reading physician to make a diagnosis more easily. Participates in lab ISR activities and scoring meetings. Reviewing and learning to maintain accreditation for the lab Department Operations: Attend monthly technical staff meetings providing professional input for the development of procedures and protocols for the Center. Continuing Education: Participate in professional meetings on a local, regional, and national basis; Maintains RPSGT credential as required by BRPT. Communication: Communicates regularly with supervisor regarding any quality related issues including signal, equipment, report or other. Asks for help when needed and is receptive to feedback.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
