Position Summary/ Department Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the team within our Boston Operating Room. This nurse would join a unique entry to OR training program for experienced and new graduate RNs. Nurses will receive didactic learning through AORN Periop 101™. This combined with clinical orientation will prepare the RN to function in the circulator and scrub roles in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Peri-operative care in circulating roles.
  • Providing clinical support and resources.
  • Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of BCH RN experience or 1 year of acute care RN experience preferred.
  • New Graduate RN’s can be considered for this role.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse RN

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
