The clinicians in Boston Children’s Department of Urology — ranked among the best in the nation in pediatric urology by U.S. News & World Report — provide expert care for the entire spectrum of urologic conditions. Our team sees infants, children, and adolescents with common urological conditions as well as more complex urological conditions including genitourinary cancers. This position also involves the Urodynamics clinic.
Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Coordinator for the Urology and Urodynamics nursing departments provides leadership and oversight of nursing operations for a high-volume, multi-site pediatric ambulatory urology practice.
Responsible for the supervision, development, and performance of the nursing team supporting clinical care delivery across all clinic locations.
Leads nursing operations by managing staffing models, work distribution, competency development, and standardized clinical support workflows.
Designs and maintains nursing education curricula, supports professional growth, and ensures nursing practice aligns with institutional policies, scope of practice standards, and established escalation pathways.
Works collaboratively with department leadership, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and administrative partners to strengthen nursing infrastructure, promote operational consistency, and support safe, efficient, and family-centered care delivery across the ambulatory urology enterprise.
Minimal Qualifications
Education
BSN required.
MSN preferred.
Experience
4-5 years of RN experience required.
Nursing certification in a specialty area preferred.
Leadership experience strongly preferred.
Experience in specialty preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
MA RN license required.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
