The Cerebral Palsy and Spasticity Center is one of the world’s leading diagnostic and treatment centers for children with cerebral palsy (CP) and spasticity. Our clinicians have extensive experience in treating the full spectrum of cerebral palsy — from children with limited effects of the disorder to those with multiple complex medical issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Working in a busy orthopedic clinic that provides comprehensive and quality care to pediatric patients and families for a variety of orthopedic needs, including congenital issues and trauma related problems.
- Supporting the orthopedic physicians in our Cerebral Palsy program.
- Providing direct patient care and patient education independently and in collaboration with team.
- Telephone triage in a team based model for the orthopedic department.
- Handling portal messages.
- Acting as a clinical resource for administrative staff.
- Communicating with patients, families and health care providers.
- Care Coordination
- Seeing patients at the main campus (Longwood), Waltham & Needham satellite campuses.
- Working Monday – Friday four 10 hour days, 7am -530pm
Minimum qualifications:
Education:
- A BSN degree
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year pediatric and/or ambulatory nurse experience. 3-5 years preferred.
- Previous experience with pediatric complex- care patients preferred.
License/certification:
- MA RN license
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
